FREELANCE TRANSLATORS (EN/ES/FR/DU)

Job Description

We are currently seeking highly skilled translators for a variety of projects. As our freelance partner, you will work remotely and contribute to a vital aspect of our client's international reach by translating football-related text into English (American), Spanish (Latin American), French and Dutch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately translate a variety of content, including press releases, reports, articles, and other relevant documents
• Ensure translated materials convey the original meaning, tone and context
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
• Consistently meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality translations
• Work closely with our internal team to understand the context of material and adapt translation when necessary
• Ensure that the translations adhere to any provided guidelines and maintain the consistency of language across all projects

Requirements

• Fluent in English (American), Spanish (Latin American), French or Dutch (native-level fluency) according to the relevant target language
• Proven experience as a translator with at least 2 years of professional translation experience
• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors in the target language
• Knowledge or interest in sports, particularly football, is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
• Capable of working to tight deadlines, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A degree in translation, linguistics or a similar relevant field is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and familiar with translation software tools. 
  
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality
• Availability to work in conjunction with the football calendar

• This is a remote freelance position, so you are free to work from anywhere
• You will be paid per project, with rates to be discussed during the interview process
