VIDEO EDITOR (DE)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented freelance Video Editor with a focus on sports, particularly football, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video content centered around football news and events. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, though it requires availability during sports events, which often occur during evenings, weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing and assembling raw footage, including matches, interviews and news clips
• Creating engaging video content tailored to our client's objectives
• Collaborating with our team to plan and conceptualise video content
• Adding graphics, captions, and special effects as needed to enhance storytelling
• Ensuring the timely delivery of finalised video content for publishing.

Requirements

• Native fluency in German, both written and spoken
• Proven experience in video editing, preferably in the sports industry
• Strong knowledge of European football (Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, Eredivisie)
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours in conjunction with the football calendar, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

• This is a freelance position with competitive pay. The successful candidate will have the freedom to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection
